Dog Size Requirement: Paul’s therapy dog, Jonah, is a great example of a perfect fit for our environment. Larger in size, calm, easy going, able to relax with Patients on the floor (mat provided) and remain in one group room throughout the visit.

Visit Instructions: Utilize elevator (or stairs if elevator not available) to go to the 4th floor of the main hospital building. Call staff if using the staff elevator for entry access via staff. Use the doorbell if using the public elevator and staff will assist in unlocking the double doors. The Unit is 4100, to the left after entering either doors. Ring doorbell by Unit double doors and staff will grant access. Group leaders/mental health therapists, will likely meet you either just prior to entry or upon entry onto the Unit. Groups take place either in the dining room or library and group leader will orient to the room. Visits occur with various Patients attending throughout the hour just in the group room, no need to go room to room. Group leader will accompany RocDog presenter back off Unit when group has ended.
